- Pool shell manufactured in one piece in our workshop, transported by special-needs convoy, craned onto the roof, with exposed stainless steel walls
In Saint-Tropez, Steel and Style installed a stainless steel pool on a rooftop overlooking the bay. The pool shell was manufactured entirely in our workshops, delivered by special-needs convoy, and installed by crane in a single day.
A pool shell manufactured entirely in our workshop
The pool was assembled and welded in our workshops: self-supporting stainless steel structure, 316L stainless steel sheets, integrated plumbing. It left the factory in one piece, ready to install.

Manufacturing in our workshop means working in a controlled environment, to the millimeter, and reducing the on-site construction period to just a few days.
The crane installation, one day in July 2020
A mobile crane was installed in the residence's parking lot. The pool shell was lifted, swung over the gardens, and then lowered onto the prepared location on the rooftop.

This installation method is possible because a stainless steel pool is light compared to a concrete pool. Our rooftop pool: feasibility, loads and technical constraints guide details the points to check before a rooftop project.
An above-ground pool with stainless steel walls
The pool shell is installed above ground. Its brushed stainless steel walls remain exposed and create a clean volume on the terrace, between the wooden decking and the lawn.

A pool on your rooftop? We study its feasibility from the plans.
The infinity edge overlooking the bay
The water overflows at the level of the coping. From the terrace, the water surface visually extends towards the sea and the hills of the bay.

The result
A rooftop pool, integrated into a wooden and lawn setting, with an unobstructed view of the bay. For another rooftop pool, see the TINY stainless steel rooftop pool in Antibes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions about Rooftop Stainless Steel Pools
Can a pool be installed on a rooftop?
Yes, if the building structure can support the load. A structural study verifies feasibility before any project.
How does a stainless steel pool arrive on a roof?
Depending on access, the pool shell is delivered whole and then craned or airlifted, or assembled on site from components.
Why stainless steel for a rooftop pool?
Stainless steel is light, self-supporting, and watertight. It is suitable for roofs where a concrete pool would be too heavy.
Can a stainless steel pool remain above ground?
Yes. The brushed stainless steel walls can remain exposed, or be clad in wood, stone, or glass.
What water treatment is suitable for a stainless steel pool?
Chlorine, active oxygen, and UV are suitable. Salt electrolysis is not compatible with our stainless steel pools.
